We are non-smoking in the house and immediate garden.
As many guests come for some peace and quiet, and because we can only accept 2 guests per room (there is one sofa bed in one room), we only take guests over the age of 12.
We have 2 young girls, Poppy and Rosie, you should hopefully not know they are here! Unless you specifically ask to meet them.
Your room will be available between 16.30 (4.30pm) and 18.00 (6pm) on the day of your arrival. We will need to know an arrival time to enable appropriate social distancing. Please advise if you plan to arrive after 2200 (10pm) so we can make specific plans.

Our checkout time is 11.00am on the day of your departure, and the balance of your account becomes due for payment on departure unless otherwise agreed. You will be sent an electronic invoice at the start of your stay to be paid online by departure
Our price includes your accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, so including breakfast. Extras, including telephone calls, drinks, meals or packed lunches etc are charged as ordered. We accept the following forms of payment: card payments only.
A deposit of £50, is required to guarantee a reservation. Seven day notice of cancellation is required for refund. Please note we’re a small business and rely mostly on forward bookings, so cancellations can have a significant impact on us. If a cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival the deposit will not be refunded. We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover you if you need to cancel.
As per government guidelines, please do not travel to us if you or any of your party has COVID 19 symptoms or if you’ve been told to self isolate. If this is the case and you need to cancel your booking please let us know ASAP. We will refund your deposit or offer to move your stay to another date.
If you develop COVID 19 symptoms whilst you are here, please let us know immediately. As per government guidelines, you will be required to leave the B&B immediately and return home. We will refund the remainder of your stay, minus any expenses we have already incurred for food etc.
If we have a case of COVID19 at the property we will shut the room for 72 hours.
If you have to self isolate within 14 days of leaving the B&B, please let us know immediately.
If we have to cancel your booking because we have to self isolate or because we have had a case of COVID19 at the B&B, we will refund your deposit and try and find you suitable alternative accommodation locally.
Well behaved pets are permitted by prior arrangement only to stay in our barn (at no additional cost) or remains in your vehicle. We do not allow pets into the house.
We would only ever cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would always attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund ALL monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, or we have not been advised.
NB: Hammonds Farm is also our home and any items either on display or being used in the running of our business, belong to us. Anything which is removed without prior agreement, you will be charged the replacement value. This includes, dressing gowns, toiletries and soft furnishings.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
We are now required to hold details of the lead guest for a booking inc telephone number for a minimum of 21 days as part of the track and trace system. If the lead guest is unable to be in contact with the other guests at a later date if needed then contact details for all will need to be held.
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer, but is definitely not held in written form. With your permission, we will add you to our mailing list for our newsletter, which is sent out via email, detailing things that are happening and any special offers. Please advise if you would rather be removed from this list.
